Paint Sprayer Gun Spitting Fluid

You will face this issue in a number of situations;

When your gun does not have sufficient fluid

 When the nozzle of the gun is not tight enough

When there is any kind of obstruction in the passage of the fluid

To resolve all these problems you need a solution according to the problem, fill the suction cup with sufficient fluid, tighten the nozzle and before painting check the nozzle, clear the obstructions in the passageway by keeping your gun clean, respectively.

Gun Does Not Spray

If your gun is not spraying it means that there is some problem. The issues that might occur are;

The fluid used is too viscous

The needle is not opened

There is a pressure issue in the gun – the pressure is not enough

In order to solve these problems, you need to thicken your fluid by adding some solvent to the paint, open the needles and adjust them, adjust the pressure by increasing it (also check the passage for obstruction, if found, clear it before spraying).

Bubbles in Paint

If you see excessive bubble formation in the paint, then there is a chance that the fluid tip of your paint sprayer is not tight enough, to resolve this issue, simply tighten the tip of your fluid cup, and you’re good to go.

Fluid Cup Leakage

If the fluid is leaking from the cup of your HVLP paint sprayer, then there must be some issue with the lid of the fluid cup. The following issue might be causing the problem;

The lid of the cup is cracked or broken

The lid if not tightly closed

The lid is dirty, and the dirt is preventing it from closing tightly

Most people complain that their paint coated surface looks like sandpaper, and the coating is not smooth or even. This problem is often caused by

The pressure of the air is too high

When you are way too far from the surface being painted

Gun is moving way fast

The coating supplied on the surface is not sufficient

All of these problems can be easily solved by; reducing the pressure fittingly, moving close to the painting surface, slowing down your speed, and moving your paint sprayer slowly, elevate the pressure off, and increasing the volume by using a larger nozzle, respectively.

Over-Spray

Many people face the issues like over-spraying when using the air paint sprayers, which is basically because they are not setting the pressure of their sprayer gun correctly. Here are some of the issues which are the main reason behind the excessive over-spraying that you might face during painting;

The pressure of the sprayer gun is too high

The surface might be away from the sprayer gun

To resolve these major issues, which cause over-spraying you can, reduce the pressure of the sprayer gun, and adjust it correctly, keeping the air paint sprayer gun at an appropriate distance from the air paint sprayer gun, respectively.

Fluid Leakage from Front of the Paint Sprayer Gun

It might not be a very frequently occurring issue, but some users might face fluid leakage from the front of their paint sprayer gun while painting, which can be due to the following reasons;

Worn out nozzle or needle of the sprayer gun

The tip of the fluid passage has obstruction and is clogged

The packing of the sprayer gun has dried
